Fight or Flight

March 17, 2017 By Josette

Would you like to know why  the body begins to react to everyday events the same that it would to a life threatening occurrence ?

Definition- Fight or flight is a post- traumatic stress. It’s a physiological reaction that occurs in response to a perceived harmful event, attack or threat to survival.

Those of us who have higher levels of emotional reactivity may be prone to anxiety and aggression. Stimulation of the cortex by the sympathetic nervous system causes release of hormones into the blood to initiate the fight or flight response.

If we are suddenly confronted with a frightening situation are sympathetic nervous system in response to the information that our brain integrates sends a message to the adrenal medulla which releases information into the blood in short bursts. Stress Makes Us Less Intelligent

May 26, 2016 By Josette

Stress makes us less intelligent, because stress hormones cause our blood vessels to constrict, which has a negative effect on our consciousness.

We react to life, instead of following our strategy, and listening to our inner authority.

If you lack physical well-being, how can you be healthy on any other level?

It all starts with a healthy body. And a healthy body is a relaxed body.

To discover more about this, I invite you to watch the short video below.
